No matter how you flip it: Obama is a light-skinned man. It doesn't matter if J. Cole is lighter (what relevance does that have, especially when J. Cole is maybe a shade lighter? ). Obama is also a bi-racial (though many would call him multi-racial) man --- his mother is of English ancestry with Welsh, German and Swiss heritage. Being that both J. Cole and Obama are both bi-racial/multi-racial, I think J. Cole has more knowledge on the topic than most of you do.

Not saying I agree that Obama was only elected because of his light complexion, but you girls will not sit up here, act idiotic and call that man "dark" just because he is recognized as a black man.

lawd woo this is the funniest and saddest thing I've read today. Clearly Obama is lightskinned just because he doesn't serve clear as glass and has more pigment doesn't make him any less lightskinned.

I like J. Cole but he's a mess when it comes to race. On Born Sinner, he raps about how he would sell more if he was white, yet he has a white mom and is like the lightest black rapper out there.
