I was obsessed with her in elementary school and then kinda forgot about how great she was during her breakdown, but I still watched the Gimme More VMA performance (6th grade) religiously and watched all the vids from the Blackout era (I was too young to go out and get an album)...then Circus came out (7th grade) and I've been reading so much about her life and following her every move

I always liked her since the days of Destiny's Child...I became a stan though after Single Ladies took over the world (7th grade) and I saw the power Beysus had over people...I use all of her albums though and truly believe she is the best performer to ever walk the planet - no exaggeration

I bopped to her during the Fame era (7th grade), but it was the Paparazzi performance (8th grade) that made me obsessed with her...then after Judas came out (9th grade) I started researching her and following her career intensely...I lost interest in her recently but Applause has won me over again lol

The Queen! I remember going to New York once in 6th grade and my mom turned on a radio station that played 80s music which I protested severely...then it happened, they played La Isla Bonita...I was hypnotized! I literally kept singing the chorus for 3 months...then 4 Minutes came out a few weeks after and I bopped to that...I forgot about her until the whole BTW/Express Yourself scandal and then I looked up her whole videography on YouTube and became the biggest stan ever! I've literally checked out 3 biographies about her from the library and read them in 3 days lol...something about her just puts me in a trance

idk. I never listened to music purposely. Literally. One day I heard the glorious Just Dance for the first time and I got hooked.

I heard Rated R and it was a done deal.
To this day I have never been as SLAYED on the first listen as I was when I heard Rated R.

2007: My sister was preparing a choreo for Baby Boy (that was the first song I heard) ... then I saw The Beyoncé Experience and my heart got shot.

I noticed her when Just dance blocked Single Ladies in Mediabase chart.

I've been a fan of a lot of artists for a long time, but I only started stanning for Ke$ha last year. I realised I was stanning when I was constantly checking for updates on Warrior, Die Young and iTunes/Billboard chart positions. Also the fact that I've listened to pretty much all of her unreleased collection should have given something away, I guess.

Same goes for Gaga and Katy... been holding out for more ARTPOP news since it was first confirmed in August 2012, and most recently Katy Perry since her surprise Prism promo with a golden semi-truck. I mean, if that doesn't say, "Please stan for me, I'll give you new music," I don't know what does. Same goes for the unreleased collection.

I'm currently on the verge of stanning for Marina & The Diamonds and Lana Del Rey... Marina first, as I was told about Electra Heart and loved it, but since then I've gotten into her older releases, as well as her unreleased material. At first I hated Lana, but for some reason I wanted to keep giving her a chance, and slowly, especially within the last week or so, I've become a real fan of hers. I've started getting into her older and unreleased material, as well.

I was on the verge of stanning for Nicki last year, but things have changed since then. When I got Pink Friday, I was obsessed with it for the first few months. Amazing album. When the Roman Reloaded era began, I really liked Turn Me On and Starships, but when the album finally dropped after a pushback and cancelled single releases, I kind of felt like it was a bit too... uncohesive. It was like two different albums in one. From then on, the era turned into a bit of a mess... The Re-Up was nice, but aside from "I'm Legit", I didn't really find any stan-worthy songs. Her features so far have been great though, so I may have to reevaluate getting a stan card when the next era begins.

I Remember watching mtv in like november 2008 and Womanizer came on and i was like IN-LOVE with the video,the song,her weave,her fashion and her in general and it started to get TONS of airplay,so i downloaded it and literally listened to it everyday and i ANNOYED my parents cuz i would sing the chorus EVERYWHERE and then i remember watching her xfactorUK performance and just sitting there in like complete AWE of her.and then i borrowed my auntie's copy of "Greatest Hits:My Prerogative" and ive been britney's bitch ever since.and literally its got to the point where when people i know hear about her they think of me

Weirdly enough i hated her until september last year but ever since i heard The Boys I've loved her.i now (finally) own all her albums and mix tapes

Ok So BASICALLY for xmas 09 my dad bought me "The Best" because he said that janet was the original britney and that i would love her music.i felt offended and didnt listen to it.but in april last year i got really bored and wanted to listen to some other artists and discover more music so i looked through all the cd's i never listened to and found my copy of said album and i listened to it all the way through and fell in love with her music.then i looked up her videography,etc and the rest is history

She pretty much existed as a staple artist on the radio when I was growing up. English was my second language, so her music helped me learn it (I actually didn't know how to initially enunciate her name - I used to say it McDonna, for I learned to say McDonald's before I could say her immaculate name, Madonna).

In the early stan wars between Legend X and Britney Spears, I preferred Xtina over Britney because my intuition told me she had talent beneath the bubblegum pop veneer.

I somewhat started stanning as a joke, and then I morphed into enjoying her discography and started smoking weed too.

Kelly Clarkson: Hearing Miss Independent live for the first time all the way back in 2004 made me a fan.. Then came Breakaway... I had to repurchase that album because the CD got damaged from playing it days and DAYS.. I still used a portable cd player back then :'). That was really the best moment as a fan, seeing her become a global superstar. Everytime someone hears Kelly, they'll send me a text haha..

Demi Lovato: Her second album Here We Go Again made me stan so much. I remember seeing Demi on disney everywhere and I was interested in her before then. But the only songs I've heard/cared for on her debut album were the singles. I remember watching the music videos all the time and thinking this girl has talent. But with HWGA i released what a voice she has and how good her songwriting could be so it made me stan.

Taylor: I've pretty much liked taylor from her debut. I think Teardrops On My Guitar was the first song i've ever heard from her which i was OBSESSED with it because at the time i related to it.

Avril: It's actually hard for me to remember when i first started stanning her but The Best Damn Thing caught my attention to her but i've liked her in the past. But around that time i started listening to her old stuff more and realized that i actually heard quite a few of her songs.
