i actually said in early 2012 when everyone was on azealia's dick that iggy would prove to be a bigger mainstream success, but of course NO ONE believed me back then.
it's the girls who have STEADY & SLOW rises to fame that tend to last the longest and really blow up (see: rihanna).

As if staying in the top 50 for a few extra weeks or whatever is supposed to be some sort of huge accomplishment now and especially in the UK when some of the sales for songs in like the top 30 are super low that just means she had an easier chart history which is by no means significant in this case because these songs weren't released at the same time so there's no direct comparison. (Not to mention there's people from the UK here saying both Iggy songs were big hits and they actually live there and know what's on radio/TV as well.)

Charts aren't the only way to check if an artist's being successful, especially these days, not that I'm expecting your pressed soul to agree with that anytime soon. But yea I guess Iggy will keep rising and getting more hits as that also proves, while Azealia stays being a local one hit wonder... I start seeing a trend here with you.
