Jive’s Pop Queen Will Top Next Week’s Chart With 400-450k, The Backstreet Boys, The Eagles, Baby Bash & Josh Turner Will Debut Top 5
Next week, the industry will have a Blackout.
Jive’s pop sensation kicks the fourth quarter into moderate gear with a first-week total that is looking between 400-450k, more than enough to thrust her into the top spot on the next HITS Album chart.
Baby Bash’s odd couple of diva Paula DeAnda and One Republic frontman Ryan Tedder on the album Cyclone, is good enough for #2 with a total that appears headed for between 80-90k. The unlikely pairing was produced by Grammy winner T Bone Burnett.
Fine-living country troubadour Josh Turner aptly named new album, Everything Is Fine, is showing some nice strength, good enough for a bow between 70-75k.
Jive/Sony BMG boy banders The Backstreet Boys are up next, looking good for a Top 5 debut with the latest in their on-going attempt at a comeback, Unbreakable, which could rustle up 60-65k.
The Eagles should debut with 50-55k with their new album.
Andrea Bocelli is at 50k, give or take, for his new album, The Best Of Andrea Bocelli.
Meanwhile, the market was down nearly 5% vs. last week, down 20% vs same week last year and now down 14.4% year-to-date. Yeeesh.
just kidding!
