Share A Coke with Tegan & Sara Competition!
Tegan and Sara have announced a fan competition in cooperation with Coca Cola, which will allow the lucky winners to spend a day with the band and share happiness and friendship with them.
 
Hey guys,
we are extremely to announce that in connection with our campaign for Coca Cola, we have created a contest for our fans in all participating countries in Europe and the UK with an incredible prize!
The 'Share a Coke with' campaign stands for sharing happiness and friendship, and we'd like to do just that with some of our most creative and original fans. Your task is to take a picture (or video) of yourself with your Tegan and Sara Coke bottles/cans and then let us know why you would like to share a Coke with us! We're not asking for much, so try to think out of the box and surprise us with your creativity!
Your prize? You will get to spend one entire day with us on our next tour in the UK/Europe, in a city of your choice (travel expenses not included). Question: Is there anything you wish you'd changed about Little Poems?
Carly: I do. But that's not surprising at all really. (laughs). If I feel like I want to change a sound of the song I just change the arrangement in performances. So you'll definitely hear some different arrangements of the song in my upcoming performances.
Question: What is your favorite Justin Bieber song?
Carly: Our collab, definitely. It's always amazing to work with him.
Question: What was the first song you recorded for the album?
Carly: A song called Grand. I recorded it like during the Kiss sessions. But I rerecorded it in about the beginning of this year. It's a really sassy track. It's on the deluxe so if you wanna hear it go get the deluxe which I'll announce and all that jazz later on.
Question: If you hadn't put Little Poems on the album which song would've you made the lead single?
Carly: A song called Lead Me On. Yeah.
Question: How do you come about asking an artists on collaborating with you?
Carly: Me, being the dork I am, I get my manager to call them for me and then when he hands me the phone I get all shy and it's just gah. But most of the time they're really nice about it and yeah. I just ask to and from there our labels get everything together.
Question: How do you feel about Rihanna, Miley Cyrus, and Lindsay Lohan.
Carly: Rihanna is badass, I love her a lot. Her collab with Shakira is such a good song. Love it. Miley's lovely and so sweet but spunky. I performed at her release party for her album which is beyond amazing. Lindsay is also very cool. I'm glad she's gotten everything together and now is fulfilling all the potential she had as a musician.
Question: When will we get the Little Poems Music Video?
Carly: Hmm, I'm not allowed to say anything yet but well they, my label, can kiss my ass. Just kidding, please don't drop me but it's coming out next week.

MILEY CYRUS ON JIMMY KIMMEL LIVE!

J: Today I am joined by a very huge superstar right now. Her lead single sits at #3 on the CAL chart, her new single has various records, and her new album is currently #1 on iTunes. Please welcome Miley Cyrus!

J: So Miley, the record ‘My Truth’ has been out for only two days and it’s already been getting fantastic reviews. How was the whole process like for making this album?
M: Well the process all started with finding a new label. Then, it was about finding my style and my sound, but I really couldn’t stick to one genre so I decided to go with a Pop root and sort of extend each track with a different genre. And then after all the ideas came flowing in, we got to work and here we are right now!
J: I actually have my copy right here…
*Pulls Out CD*
J: I haven’t listened to most of them yet, but “Bitch Like That” is my jam right now. Like every time it comes on the radio, I have to twerk and dance around.
*Laughter*
M: Serious?!
J: Yeah, look we even made a video.
*A video pops up. It shows Jimmy dancing around whenever “Bitch Like That” comes on in different areas*
M: OH MY GOD JIMMY!
J: Like it?
M: I think it’s sexy…
*Laughter*
J: So what’s the era look like now?
M: Well, just before the album was released we picked out the next singles we want to release. And we’re working out tour details, along with other things just to keep the hype up and keep me busy.
J: Well there is one thing that’s going to keep MTV busy I heard.
M: Yup!
J: In case if you guys didn’t know, Miley is having a docu-series air next week on MTV. So what was that like?
M: Filming all of the behind-the-scene details was a really fun experience. I’m obviously used to being filmed, you know because I grew up acting and singing in front of cameras. But I like this time better because I’m not forced to be another persona, I don’t even have to act. With this little series we put together, it’s just me living and making the record. So I know my Smilers are going to love it!
J: Here’s a question that I don’t think you’ve been asked before, so I’m just gonna ask you right now. On your album, you have a lot of collaborations. So will we get to see any of those other artists?
M: That’s a good one! Yes, you are going to see almost everyone that was involved with me on making this record. But with the collaborations, you’ll get to see will.i.am in the studio with us, Macklemore coming to do the rap he wrote for one of our songs and there’s a lot of footage of me and Lindsay Lohan together.
J: Yeah, I have noticed that you two have become really close friends, so describe that for us.
M: Well, we both come from the whole ‘child star’ past. And along the way, we’ve wanted to be ourselves but of course sh*t happens on the way and the media will always get involved. Unfortunately Lindsay was going through some things, but I understood how she felt. I mean, when we recorded “Bitch Like That” we weren’t friends, or close, but we were fans of each other. And after recording that song, we just really bonded and we had tons of fun together. So know we’re really good friends!
J: So where is Lindsay now?
M: Well she’s doing some solo work right now for herself, like I’m doing here.
J: So you’re going to perform “Bitch Like That” solo?
M: Yeah. I’ve done it before, she’s done it before, and everyone still loves it so everything’s still great with that.
J: So let’s get to it, we’ll be back with Miley Cyrus!

J: We are back with a special guest tonight! Here to perform her latest single, give it up for Miley Cyrus!
*Miley performed Bitch Like That in the outside stage in front of 15.000 people, with about 3.000.000 people tuning in at home. She started off with the Intro, in which she recited Lindsay’s part. It sounded different… but still awesome and anticipating. The track came in and Miley began to strut around and give sassy vocals. She grinded up on some of her dancers, and she pretended to dial someone on a phone. Now the music stopped*
“You mean I can’t bail Lindsay out of jail……. Well she’s fine now….. Oh stop making lies!........ You’re just jealous because she is going to get a hit, and you’re stuck with a salary that affords you screwing with broke *****s………. Boo bitch!”
*The music came back on and Miley began to shout out the chorus with melody and fierceness. Her dancers got into some group choreography while Miley jumped up and down getting everyone turnt up. The chorus was over, and she transitioned into the second verse. While Lindsay’s part is done by playback, Miley raises a can of Coca Cola and drinks it. When she’s done she throws it into the crowd, with some of the soda escaping onto some people. She knocks over a chair or two as she sings her portion of the verse. Miley maintains a drunk, bitch image which is what she was going for*
*When the second verse comes on, she engages with the dancers. Miley performs some legit choreography for the first time, as the crowd’s cheer peaks a bit and Miley smiles. She sways herself towards the end of the chorus. She gets a phone call when the bridge comes on*
“Oh hey Lindsay!....... I know those f*ckers won’t let you outta jail again……. Wait what did you do this time?............ You had to steal a car?!?!?!........ Look I know your last DUI keeps your license suspended but why didn’t you call me?........ Oh that’s right, I’m on Jimmy Kimmel Live! right now……….. Oh, gotta go I’m performing!”
*The track comes in roaring through the speakers and the dancers get wild. They throw money around, break some bottles and glitter starts falling from the sky. Miley’s vocals just keep on going and going and going, sounding amazing. She finishes the song and jumps off the stage*
J: Miley Cyrus everybody! The new single, the old single and the album are all out right now! We’ll be back with some more!

Ariana performs "The Voice" at Amp Radio.
Ariana performs an acoustic version of "The Voice" for eight of her biggest Amp Radio-listening fans. The fans were siting on a comfortable red couch, and were watching Ariana perform her song. She was wearing a cute short dress, and looked very happy. She even went to dance with fans a little. Gave them autographs, and fans were having fun. Ariana, herself served amazing vocals, as always. Her voice is a diamond, she hit all the high notes, and listeners seemed very impressed. Didn't they knew, that Ariana has this king of voice? Probably they never heard her sign live before. Ariana played piano, and was very happy. In the end she smiled to her fans, and went for a snack with them.

Tegan and Sara Coca Cola TV commercial
While they're still out promoting their new album, Shipwrecked, Tegan and Sara are also going strong in the marketing department right now. Only yesterday, Garnier revealed their new BB Cream commercial featuring the twin sisters, and today, we got news that another big company is bringing them to our TV's – even if only in the UK and Europe. We're still hoping for them to bring the campaign to the US, and to be honest we still don't get what's keeping them from doing so, since it must be going pretty well!
Here's what a Coca Cola spokesperson told us about the new commercial:
Our Tegan and Sara campaign has been breaking all records and been more successful than most of our previous campaigns. We didn't expect it to take off so quickly, especially without a TV spot, but the Tegan and Sara bottles and cans are almost constantly sold out. People are on a real hunt for them and it's overwhelming. That's why we asked the girls if they wanted to do a commercial, also to aid their competition they are holding in connection with the 'Share a Coke' campaign. We are more than happy to work together with Tegan and Sara and have enjoyed this collaboration very much.
So what does the commercial look like? It shows Tegan and Sara in a photo booth like setting, talking into the camera – in a sisterly affectionate way.
“You're smart, considerate and always save my ass when I'm making a fool of myself in interviews”, Tegan says, before Sara takes over: “Thank you for being the best big sister in the world, and never failing to make me laugh.” Tegan pulls up a Coke bottle that has 'Sara' written on it and smiles, “I'm gonna share this Coke with Sara”, and Sara holds up one with 'Tegan', “I'm gonna share this Coke with Tegan.” They both laugh, while Tegan puts her arm around Sara, “That's Sara”, and Sara leans her head against Tegan's shoulder, “And that's Tegan.”
Their song 'Youth' plays during the commercial, and at the end, there is some info about their Coca Cola competition displayed.

*The band begins to play and Miley begins to sing “Free Falling.” She piers into the camera, looking completely intriguing and like a rockstar. She’s wearing ripped jean shorts, a black t-shirt with some rips and glitter, and red lipstick to complete the rock look. She keeps her microphone on the stand, and gives a very simple but excellent performance. Her vocals were sharp, her poses were picture-ready and her smile was infectious*

However, when she gets to the chorus she kicks the microphone stand off and sets the studio off. She’s raising her arms, jumping and she begins to perform some solo choreography. She gets into the second verse strutting around and grinding alongside one of her fellow guitar players. She flies through another chorus getting all around the studio performing her heart out and finally stops at the bridge for a quick phone call*
“Lindsay!..... Just a reminder, we have an Awards Show to perform tonight!...... Kk love, see you there!”
*The band’s music shifts into a different track, and Miley begins to twerk on the stage. She smacks her ass for the cameras and turns around smiling to get back to singing. She delivers the most powerful vocals of the performance in the final chorus where the band’s music gets faster and more climactic. She dropped the mic when she finished and laughed*

Ariana Grande performs on Jimmy Kimmel.
Today, rising star, Ariana Grande stopped by Jimmy Kimmel show, and performed her song "The Voice" She was happy, and very relaxed. Jimmy asked her a few questions, she answered them, and started her performance.
Jimmy: Hello, Ariana. First time seeing you here, how do you feel?
Ariana: Well, hello, Jimmy. I don't know, being her the first time is very sweet, and rawarding. I remember when I used to watch your show, and tv, and now, I'm here. Couldn't ask for more.
Jimmy: You sound like a very sweet girl, also very love your new song, what's the inspiration behind it?
Ariana: Thank you very much, Jimmy. Means a lot.The inspiration was to highlight the voice, that you don't have to sex up yourself for success, I want to make music for ears, not eyes. I always though, that the voice is the most important thing for music. Also I stan for quality music,. I'm in love with old music!
Jimmy: So young, but so sophisticated. Who made you like these kind of songs.
Ariana: Well my mom is a huge fan of 90's music, and she always listens to that music. So, I guess she affected me. I was listening to this kind of music, when I was little.
Jimmy: Well, thank your mother for me.
Ariana: Okay.
Jimmy: So now you wil perform for us?

Performance:
Ariana started her performance with a huge brick wall standing on stage. She got close to wall, and touches it. Suddenly the wall fall apart, and bricks were laying on the floor. Ariana started building something. Bunch of little girls with flowers ran on stage, and gave them to Ariana. it turns out Ariana building a park. She sings her song, and is making her dream park. The flowers are flying everywhere, and Ariana is just having fun. Bunch of dancers show up on stage, wearing builders uniforms, and help Ariana build her park. They all are having fun, little girls are running everywhere, wearing colorful dresses, and just having fun. In the end they finish building Ariana's park, and Ariana starts growing flowers in it. Performance ends.
