Spain signed over their rights to Gibraltar fair and square around 300 years ago I believe. In regards to the concrete blocks being dumped in the water...Spain are always trying to fish in others waters and crying when they try and stop them.

Regardless, it is the right of the inhabitants to decide what they are.

Well, maybe there would be more employment if it wasn't for the illegal sales of products from Gibraltar in la Linea. They could stop to throw blocks to the sea, that would help too.

The government of Gibraltar is doing it to conserve fish stocks. Spanish fishermen are notorious for over-fishing. In fact, here in Ireland Spanish ships are frequently intercepted by the navy for violating the Irish Conservation Box. You can't blame Gibraltar for caring about its eco-system. Besides, these blocks are the culmination of a process that has been going on for over 30 years. Why is the Spanish government only protesting now?

Amen to that. Besides, they've conducted several polls among residents of Gibraltar and every time they overwhelmingly say they want to be British.

Geographical location is a flop argument and in reality has nothing to do with it. #teamUK
