Spain to be honest, Gibraltar's not even anywhere near the UK. Same with the Falklands, they just like to try and make a claim to wherever they can. It's a mess. I'm from the UK BTW.
To be fair to the inhabitants of Gibraltar and the Falklands, they identify as British. Lord knows the UK would've dumped them sooner otherwise. It's the same with Northern Ireland, although that's a larger drain on England's wealth than the other two combined.
SPAIN. I understand that Gibraltar wants to be british, I'm fine with that, but its financial status and their politics are damaging Spain, so, we have to defend ourselves.

Actually, Gibraltar provides employment to Spaniards who live in the impoverished town of La Linea. And it's not a tax haven. So...

The inhabitants of both want to stay part of the UK. Proximity =/= ownership.
That is very true TBH, it should be up to the inhabitants to decide. But the British do have a bad habit (well did in the past) of going to places and taking over without consent.
Funny how they speak Spainish in South America. I wonder why?

Explain Ceuta and Melilla then, 2 Spanish provinces in Africa.

very true. but no major county is really innocent of that. and the UK was much worse at its peak than Spain at its. I mean Spain had a large part of south america. UK had north america, australia, india, hongkong, parts of aftica, etc etc
