I'm reading all the 9 sites of the thread and everyone is placing Kelly really high. Almost everyone.

Yeah, I think that AIEW is her worst album because I consider it being dishonest. Like if Kelly said: "OK, My December flopped so this time I'll record whatever you want." Of course there are some gems like on every Kelly's album (Already Gone to name at least one) but I don't like the album overall. I like Thankful better because I can at least connect with Kelly's personality (there is something very personal from Kelly in Thankful for me, although it was hest first post-Idol album so she probably didn't have much power over its sound or songs etc) but with AIEW I feel like Kelly was forced to fake, to pretend she is a careless teen idol or something while we all know that she isn't.

BTHE used to be my favorite song by Kelly but now I have other favorite ones and although I do like BTHE, I can't see what I used to love so much about it. I am happy with my life and myself, so maybe I just can't really connect with it.

Thankful is not a bad album, neither is AIEW but yes it is not the most personal and it is too pop-ish. We can also see her vocals getting better and better with Thankful and yeah. AIEW is bad and even its ballads are mediocre. Cry is the only one shining, Save You a bit too

I don't really like Save You. It starts great and the verses are great but chorus lacks something, some dramatic part and the piano pre-bridge intermezzo could have made miracles for the song but it failed. Maybe the song should have ended right after the bridge, I don't know.

Cry is great but I always kinda forget about it.

Cry has the "dramatic" thing in the background. It's especially in the bridge and final chorus when the lyrics and emotions in voice make it visible.
