Back in 2009 I used to put I Kissed a girl, Hot n Cold, Just Dance and Poker Face on repeat. I don't know what made me like Gaga more but in the end I ended up being a monster. If Gaga hadn't made it that big back in 2009, I'd be a Katycat now,(I still adore Katy). Maybe I liked Gaga more because her song were more dancy and she dressed weird

Funny enough, because of BEP, if will.i.am never worked with PCD on Beep, I probably would have been still a huge BEP fan. Beep sparked my ultimate interest in PCD, Buttons made me fall in Love with Nicole.

Gaga

It was just a gradual transition from casual fan, to fan, to mega fan... to outright stan. I've been backing her since Just Dance, but it was the Bad Romance video that made me follow her every move.

I heard BOMT on the radio when I was like four and I stanned hard ever since. Even through her breakdown I stuck by her side. I can't imagine abandoning her now after 14 years.


I used to hear IKAG and Hot n Cold on the radio all the time and I liked her cute personality but I didn't truly start stanning until California Gurls was released. The accompanying video and the rest of the TD campaign just made me fall even further in love.


Everyone was talking about Video Games so I checked it out and actually didn't like it at first so I forgot about her. Then I saw the video for Born To Die on the Youtube homepage, gave it a listen and loved it. So I gave Video Games another listen and realized how awesome it really is. When the album was released I listened to it on Youtube first and loved all the tracks, her voice, image and everything about her so I decided to stan.

Bruce Springsteen

His music has got so much exposure in Spain, especially in Barcelona, so I ended up being a huge gan after years of hearing his hits in the radio

Rihanna. I'm not sure if Eminem influenced me by his collaboration with her, or her becoming a redhead. I think both.
Eminem. For Eminem I stan like since I was a child, but only from Beautiful I started to stan hard.

Lady Gaga: I ha always liked TF/TFM, but then I heard Government Hooker and realised just how insane/great she was.

Avril Lavigne: Under My Skin was the first album I ever brought and MHE kinda took over my summer, then I got Let Go and bopped along to TBDT. I actually liked GL, I don't get the hate.

Paramore: I heard Riot! and never took it off repeat.

lyrical genius and I think better than half the rap game, and I love the stories he plays in his albums.

After seeing/hearing Leave Right Now I was like ehhh, but when Jealousy got released i payed more attention. What got me to stan level was from his single Losing Myself I began to explore his music more in depth, and now he's the most played artists over the past 2 years to date.

After hearing her voice, midway through X-Factor UK in 2010, I began to stan for that amazing voice and thought she had a better chance of beating Matt Cardle at the finale (honestly One Direction I wasn't sure if they could actually win, and we all knew Cher had no chance of winning at the time ). After losing I was so hyped on her voice, and her album is one of my most played to date.

Katy Perry
My sister really brought Katy Perry into the existence of my world with Ur So Gay and I Kissed A Girl, but after Thinking of You, I really became the only family member to stand by Katy Perry. During the Teenage Dream era I really became a huge supporter throughout the ENTIRE era, California Gurls did me in, and since then I've extremely loved Katy.

Johnny Ruffo
My Australian fav He's a singer, dancer, actor, presentor. I found him on X Factor Australia and knew he was talented (even if he could not sing) since I knew image is EVERYTHING in the marketplace. So really about midway through the live competition I became more of a stan for him

Britney Spears
"Femme Fatale" finished that period of my life when I listened to punkish bands and finally switched back to the pop gurls. That album also made me want to get tan, because before then I liked myself better with pale skin. I also bought the whole Britney discography right before FF was released and I started to love her like no one. After having seen Britney: For the Record, she became my idol.

Katy Perry
I discovered her music in January 2009 and bought "One of the Boys". Loved every song on it. When "Teenage Dream" came out, she was the only pop girl I'd listen to. I became a true stan after "Wide Awake" though, that song's my second favorite song of all time. Her movie also helped me grow my love for her.
