I think everyone was already selfish in terms of a lot of things. But I would have to say we've become a lot more selfless with technology.

More and more people are donating than ever before through apps that allow you to donate straight from the app. It's amazing at the response. Everybody's a little bit self-obsessed. But if they weren't taking 4567890 selfies each day, they would be doing something similar.

What I find more remarkable, is the fact that these tablets and phones cost so much money, but people are just willing to "give" their old tablets and phones away to friends, family etc. wheras you'd be lucky to get a TV or Radio off someone before. I was given an iPhone 4 from a friend after I lost my 4S for free.

Because it's become so "everyday life" it's actually make people give more than what they used too I have found.

It made us too dependent.

I don't know if taking pics of yourself is being selfish. I think it's more a form of obsessing over yourself/looks or narcissism.

I do think technology has made us meaner people and has also made verbal abuse something casual these days, though.

Techonology makes people lazy, but don't make them selfish.
