I generally hate the whole "thumbs up, thumbs down" thing on YouTube, mostly the "thumbs down" because that's just rude! But, I do think it's pretty cool when you get so many "thumbs up" that you end up being the top comment of the video.

Around the time of the Can't Be Tamed era I would go on to Miley videos and correct some people when they'd call her a "s***" and such. So pretty much I was a top commenter on some of those videos.

I don't do it anymore because it's a waste of time.

I was the top comment on this video, had 100+ thumbs up:

Yes it was for the Last friday night video. I got 109 thumbs up because I told people to stop picking on Rebecca even if she is a loud annoying squirrel.
And another one on super bass got like 300 thumbs up it went along the lines of "lady gaga has yellow hair, katy perry has blue hair rihanna has red hair and now nicki has pink hair. Holy s**t it's the power rangers!!"

One time when I complained about how spam comments are always the ones that get a million thumbs up, and another time when I complained about how long the ad was before the video (before I got adblock obviously). So basically me complaining gets lots of thumbs up

Yes, it happened when Katy's E.T. video premiered and the Monsters were perched there (as usual ) saying that Katy blatantly copied Gaga's BTW video so I wrote a lengthy post explaining that since E.T. is a song about aliens, then obviously the video was going to be alien-themed. Also, I stated the fact that the song and even the video were already done before BTW even came out and that they were not in the position to talk especially when the BTW and Express Yourself comparisons were the talk of the town at that time.

That easily became the top comment and stayed there for about 20 minutes if I remember correctly
