Yes Brandy fans, the official news is way over due.

The 1st single off Brandys 5th studio album which she is currently applying finishing touches on, is indeed scheduled to be released to airwaves in Late OCT, The official news comes from Urbanbridgez.com. A very reliable source for all news, (escpecially Brandy).

Brandy Norwood is currently putting the finishing touches on her fifth studio album, yet to be titled. It’s been awhile since we've heard anything new (music-wise) about Miss Brandy and with the car accident (among other things) somewhat behind her, she is on her way to making a splash in the music industry again. The last studio album from the singer was back in 2004 with ‘Afrodisiac’. The first single from the new album is set to hit the airwaves in late October. Stay tuned to find out what label the album will be released on, along side her & her Brother Ray J's imprint, Knockout Entertainment!

I've personally been allowed to listen to some of her new material and she is about to KILL the R&B game effortlessly (without a car).

If Afrodisiac was released last year, it would have been a huge hit.

Yeah, but you know in the end it doesn't even matter. I want her to be successful and all, but as long as she puts out good music I'm satisfied.

i'm hoping for a good comeback. "Afrodisiac" was the ****. Like NG said it would've been a hit in 2006/2007 with Timbo producing all of it, mostly. I love the track that samples Coldplay's song.

I dunno. Tim kinda switched to a new sound RIGHT after this album + the album failed because of Atlantic. Brandy didn't want Talk About Our Love or Who Is She 2 U to be a single. Unless Atlantic gave her more creative control, it probably would've ended the same.

^I know, but you gotta agree. "Who Is She 2 U" was a hot track and probably would've been more noticed/recieved with Timba's name on it.

I know she's versatitle, but that's her only defense for that track. The vocals are a little annoying in some parts. Overall I kind of like the beat. [please no attack]

Tim: Yeah, we’re working with Brandy and waiting to see what’s going on with her and where she going to land at with her situation. Right now she’s just in there doing demos.

How is she holding up considering the accident?

Tim: She’s doing really well. From the type of person that she is you would have thought she was going to shrivel up and die, because she’s a really caring and a really good person that was in a bad situation. But she’s holding up real good and she’s coming back into the studio. I guess that’s the best thing to do is to go into your creative mood and that helps everything.

I just heard "Full Moon" on the radio and I fell in love with the song again.

I've had Sweet Nothings in my computer for awhile now. It's one of my FAVORITES from her. This album will be promising. <3
