I prefer deeper rich voices, i dont need big vocal range but i wanna hear emotions in the voice of a singer.

Freddie Mercury, Stevie Wonder and Michael Bolton for males. Christina Aguilera, Whitney Houston, and Rihanna for females.

I love baritone voices the best.. Such a beautiful & heartwarming tone imo.

Rihanna has probably the best tone out of all the current pop girls.

That's her biggest selling points.

Brandy and Janet have such beautiful and unique tones.

Britney's lower register is really unique.
I love Dave Matthew's, Alanis Morissette's and Harry Styles' as well.

Lady Gaga - I love the voice she uses during the chorus of Yoü and I, I love how raw and awesome it sounds live. It's just so strong and raspy and lovely. I prefer a stronger voice over a softer, so I prefer the Born This Way album over The Fame album. A few of my favourite vocals by Gaga include Government Hooker, Americano, Hair and The Edge of Glory.

I don't really like her voice in Applause, a good song but I don't like the vocals. The verses are fine but the voice she uses in the chorus annoys me a bit. I LOVE her voice in Aura, the chorus

Just because it's distinct, doesn't mean it's pleasant.

Mariah Carey has the most beautiful tone of voice of any singer ever. I also love Dinah Washington's.
