She's not struggling at all, and wont be going away for a long time. The GP don't like it as much because Gaga is so openly supportive of LGBT. If she was mildly homophobic like another pop star that does well, the GP would adore her.

BTW alienated her from the public too much and Applause maybe wasn't a strong enough comeback single.

I think everyone is just tired of her now anyway, all of the weird outfits etc just isn't shocking or interesting any more.

She's not struggling because she has a huge fanbase and the GP for her. The verses are slightly a mess but the chorus SLAYS.

The chorus isn't memorable. The pre-chorus (Applause-plause-plause) is. The rest of the verses are not particularly moving.

Rush release a 2nd single, and it better not be "Burqa".

I'm not a fan of this tune yet I love the video, the verses are odd but c'mon struggling? she's top 5 right now on US iTunes, if she manages longevity she will be fine.

Because the song sounds messy and rushed and not as appealing to the GP as her older work.
