She did NOT crave for fame, she craved to be a performer like her idols Janet, Michael, Madonna, Whitney. She just got caught up with fame because her mother and team had other plans.
How could someone let themselves be controlled? That's a contradiction.
Britney is suffering from a mental illness (most likely type 1 bipolar) and that's uncontrollable. People with type 1 bipolar reach a 'mania' period and they cannot be held accountable for their actions. She needs a conservator-ship to help her.
She may be a grown woman, but grown women go through trials and tribulations too - especially if you're not mentally well.
I don't put my fave on a pedestal and I don't mind when she gets dragged. But dragging someone for their mental state is classless. Just stick to her knees, her being 'talentless' etc.
