I wouldn't be upset if she flopped (everyone deserves to at some point), but I'll do my best to keep it from happening. She's by far the only popstar to ever keep me constantly entertained.

My main focus is Britney's music. If its really good then honestly i say f*** the charts. I want her to do well but even if she sells 500k her first week if the song is a generic piece of trash like roar or applause then I won't use it or her

No problem. I had to extend my art class in high school by a year because it took me so long to even put out passable work. I'm much better at art appreciation, hence why I'm in this thread.

MDNA had me really worried about the eighth album, but I feel that William's material on that was to give Madonna more mainstream appeal and heavily influenced by Femme Fatale. Having Naughty Boy next to him gives me faith that this single will be more ethereal (which should have been my username now that I think about it).

Britney's last few lead singles weren't generic in any sense, and when she does release a generic single like TTWE it goes on to become one of the most acclaimed pop songs of the year. I'm not worried, she's going to deliver.

This is why I'm not worried if she puts out a crappy single. She's put out so many good songs and changed the pop music scape effortlessly multiple times. Just like she has the right to flop commercially, she can flop quality-wise every now and again. I won't be worried till there are two bad albums in a row.

Femme Fatale is a fabulous electro pop album. It doesn't have over 3000 scrobbles on my last.fm for nothing.

It's put down due to the overall era truly. It has very strong songs, even the weaklings Drop Dead and Gasoline are great in the right mood.

It was a necessary album since although did follow the trend at the time, critics still saw it as a progressive dance album in the genre. Till The World Ends might be a typical dance song but it had the BRITNEY oomph. Seen when Kesha sang on the remix and she sounded bland and nasty.

The single choices overall didn't express how awesome of an album it is. Tracks like Inside Out, How I Roll deserved some shine.

I don't think 400k is a decline in any way, it will be damn amazing if she pulls if off again. It'll be her EIGHT lead single. Legend. And even if it underperforms, she still has 2 #1 debuts, ain't no one else seeing that.

This. Britney needed something like FF in her discography, I'm kind of glad she did it. Even though FF is my least favourite Britney album, it still isn't bad. It is good to listen to when you're in that certain mood.

Found all those Britney remixes, demos, leaks, tour versions, and b-sides on a remix website. Been boppin to ha for hours!

The lead single just needs a hook that will stick with people. Hold It Against Me had a nice sing-y chorus but it didn't stick to the GP.
