I'm a Gaga stan but I think it's relatively clear that she's nowhere near as successful as she was during TFM. This is a trough in her career. She just needs her Confessions on a Dancefloor comeback moment - but I'm not sure ARTPOP will be that. The latest single doesn't give the impression that she is bringing something new to the table with this new record (even if she is).
I've been putting a lot of thought into this question over the past few days, and after lots of pondering, I can only come to one conclusion. Yes, Lady Gaga is done. She's over.
She just released her best video since TFM days and she has yet to perform it, give her time. Even if this underperforms, I think she'll bounce back with single #2.
