The K$ base handles flopping in stride, as always, since the very beginning of her flop streak.
Meanwhile, at the opposite end of the spectrum, the little monsters are currently having a meltdown of epic proportion, large enough to crash Google and bring down 40% of the internet. http://www.theregister.co.uk/2013/08/17/google_outage/
tbh i wasnt really mad when ooh la la flopped. I knew it was just a soundtrack for a terrible kids movie, and she meant for it to be a gift to her boys. Britneys had plenty of flops but she always bounces back with a huge hit so it never bothers me.
Kelly though has been flopping quite a bit lately which is disappointing, but again I know that she'll get another top 10 hit at some point
I really stan for good music, id rather have britney release an album that is absolutely amazing, but underperforms (ala Blackout), than an album thats generic rushed ****, but sells great (ala FF, but without the great sales)
Marina's entire career is essentially one commercial flop after another, but she's not looking to be some cultural icon, she's making music for her fans, so as long as she continues to do that, I'll continue supporting her!

I think the Diamonds are pretty okay since Marina was never super commercially successful anyway. The only thing I'm really concerned about is her being bankrupt because she spent so much money trying to be a commercial success this era. She sold out and it didn't work :/ I hope she goes back to being the indie queen now.
From what I could tell, the Kelly base kinda pretended People Like Us never happened
But I mean, it did get her another Dance/Club #1 and Hot AC top 10, so I can't be too sad. CMB is the better song anyways - and it's on track to being #1 on AC year-end

Besides DR and PLU, she hasn't flopped recently. Plus PLU had some success at select formats anyways. CMB did great and TIU is doing great right now. The album also went Gold.
As an Xtina stan, i handled Bionic easily bc it was an amazing album & I was happy anyway. Lotus has some solid tracks, but in was more concered with the quality than the success
