I was thinking... in the 2003 VMAs, Madonna's performance was not announced, meaning it was a surprise.

This year's VMAs mark the 10th anniversary of that performance and 30th anniversary overall of the VMAs, what if Britney's planning a secret performance?

I know it's wishful thinking, but it does make kind of sense. I mean, her new single is finished and due anytime, this would be the perfect scenario to premiere the new single and then release it on itunes at 12am to get a full 7 days of the sales. Perfect start of an era, tbh.
