i'm so sorry to hear that, kay bee. i've heard of situations like that occurring. i definitely think that your grandmother is in a position in which she doesn't know what to think - as you mentioned - but taking that confusion so far as to call you a liar and argue that you're seeking attention is insensitive and hurtful. you have every right to be angry, but know at the end of the day that she's wrong and that you are not to blame for her lack of understanding. the impact that this is having on your relationship is saddening but if she's not going to be empathetic in regards to all the turmoil that you've had to face at her son's hands, then that's her own personal issue and you do not deserve to be chained by that and suffer any further as a result.
