Because that director, writer, and star-studded cast brought the studio 650 ww. That cast and crew created a film that's generally been more positively received by the GP than the last Superman film. The cast was one of the best things about Steel.
I'm hoping whoever is casted as the next Batman does a solid job and I want more focus on Lois and Clark. Amy did a solid job with what she was given in Steel.
