Asain refers to people all the people on the continent of Asia of course!
But when describing one's nationality it is usually meant to describe Chinese, Japanese Koreans etc.
When referring to an Asian that is Bangladeshi, Pakistani, Iranian etc. You can call them Middle Eastern.
Thats the way i go about it lol and it works for me.
