No, it was the first question I asked before becoming fan: "Can I enjoy her music in a small pub with almost no production?".
I stan for artists capable of entertaining me in a small pub or radio studio, reversing the meaning of the same lyrics by singing it differently, singing a 40s song slower than the original because the public back then needed a song with that atmosphere/emotions,...
Talent is useless if they don't know how to use it for a useful purpose. If you choose the wrong way singing, arranging the music wrong,... It's already ruined before you even try to perform it.
Most of my faves have achieved success at some point, but a lot of them haven't in years and I don't like them any less because of that. It's great to see things I like succeeding, but whether they do or don't doesn't at all determine how I feel about them.
I only started stanning because I thought Adele's music and personality was awesome. Not going to stan for anyone else but I am fans of alot of other people and some are not that popular.
