What? Oct. 15th is too early for an album release and too late for a single release.
Unless the single comes sooner than expected. Like August 26th a day after the VMA's

No ... She can't release her single too soon after VMAs. Blurred line, Roaaaar and Appflop will rise that time.
OMG, the album on October 15th would be great, it would get the frontloaded first couple of weeks + the potential to sell during the holidays.
The only downside would be a 2nd single wouldn't benefit from the album release to get a higher peak, like Circus did... But I'm more worried about the album sales, TBH, so October 15 it is.

A month for an artist of Britney status is not too early. Plus with her work ethic, we won't be bored with the era after week one waiting 2 months for the first performance of the song(s), like the last two eras.
This pretty much guarantees a great kick off to the era and the anticipation and hype will be ongoing not dying out after weeks of nothing.
What's the point of having a big gap between the lead single and an album release, if she's not going to promote anything until closer to the album release date anyway. We'd just have another HIAM on our hands.

Because I want the lead single to do its job before the album is released. Releasing album too fast after lead single will mess up lead single sales.
