Selena had "Wizards Of Waverly Place" so she wasn't irrelevant Justin just made her more relevant. + Her tour "Stars Dance" is sold out almost everywhere. Bieber his power.
I needed to put border on cover, and I thought Katy's was pretty great, and might look great, so I took that idea

Selena makes fans happy at iTunes festival.
Selena fabulous voice was in fine form at iTunes festival last night. She sand 16 songs, and it was one of the longest sets Selena has ever did, besides the tour. She sang songs from her #1 album "Black Orchid" Also some older hits (Come & Get it, Slow Down...) The fans were really happy, they praised Selena, and screamed her names, also asked for autographs, and photos. One fan ran on stage to hug Selena. She hugged him, and then he went to audience again. Selena didn't need security to protect her. She handled the situation herself very well.
As expected Selena looked sexy, and her voice sounded sexy on her signature songs. She played drums, and just enjoyed the night. She also did a Britney's Spears medley. It included "Toxic, I'm A Slave 4 U, and Baby One More Time" It was sexy, and audience went crazy. The critics praised Selena's energy, stage presence, and her looks. They also said, that her songs are amazing, and that Black Orchid is the highlight of this year!

5. Heart Waster
“This is one of the more upbeat songs on the record, one of the few where we decided to keep the synth hook and build the song around that. It's about getting mixed signals from someone you really like and then at some point you finally realize that they were never that interested in you and giving you false hopes all along. You wasted your feelings and your heart on them. I remember I came up with the melody on a rainy day and I immediately had a feeling that this could be a cool song. I finished writing it in a matter of hours and then I sent the demo to Sara and she was like, 'It's not bad but maybe you should put this for the bridge and add that to the chorus', so I re-worked like half of it. It sounded much better after that, though, so thank you, Sara.” - Tegan
6. Don't Call Me Empty
“I tried to channel a more stripped down, rock-oriented sound with this song, that's why it has very dominant guitars and little keyboard. We actually only added the keyboard in the studio, to give it a softer, sweeter vibe in the chorus. It's sort of a break up song, but not a moping one, it's strong and powerful, like you've finally reached that point where you're ready to kick out the other person, and you're telling them all these things how they mistreated you, how they never understood you, everything they did wrong but tried to blame it on you. The song talks about the moment where you no longer let them accuse you and tell them that it was their own fault. I really like the line, 'Don't Call Me Empty', it's the last line of the chorus and sort of the center piece of the song, I almost shout it. There's a lot of emotion in it.” - Sara

Tegan and Sara announce fundraiser concert
Hey everyone,
Sara and I are beyond excited to announce that we are going to be doing a fundraiser concert for the Human Rights Campaign, August 18 at the Paramount in Huntington, NY!
We are going to play a full set and do a Q&A afterwards, plus there will be a fun after party with some special guest DJs!
And that's still not all - to offer you the best entertainment, we got some support from our amazing friends, Christina Aguilera and Selena Gomez, who will also be performing that night!
We are so happy to be able to support HRC, who works tirelessly to help and improve the LGBT in America, and to have our friends Christina and Selena join us for this good cause!
