Speaking of HIAM.... HIAM set the trend back in 2011 for a simultaneous iTunes and radio release for major artists. Before labels would send it out to radio a week before the digital release in order to get a healthy radio impression. Just a fun fact...  Brit always setting the trends though...

Yes. Pretty much all streaming services count to Billboard. Spotify, Rhapsody, Rdio, Youtube, Yahoo!, etc. I feel Spotify probably holds higher weight than any other though, that's just my speculation. Billboard is more seedy about how they do things these days, since it's so easy to figure out.
