I've noticed that Lana seems to have had a big influence in the sound currently dominating pop, in particular the production of singles like "Born to Die" and "Blue Jeans" with loud, shouting vocal samples in the background. She was pretty much the first person to do it in pop in recent years if I'm not mistaken, and since then "Locked Out of Heaven", "Diamonds", "We Can't Stop" and "Roar" have all used that element too.

They screwed the pooch (not Ke$ha shade).

Some of the Army are truly embarrassing. They bandwagon all the time. They did it with Madonna, they still do it with Rihanna, and now with Katy. I know Britney hasn't done anything remarkably impressive in the last few years but she deserves better from her stans.

Welp, Britney doesn't slay anymore so they have to rely on the accomplishments of other artists. All the Applause shade I've seen today has mainly come from insecure, pathetic Britney stans that live in some deluded bubble where the US is the only important music market. Hell, I've seen some of the Kats being nice to Gaga.
