i'll wait for a paragraph-long post about her lack of promotion as if that was the main issue

In the last 6 years, one of her hits was produced by Danja, another by an unknown production duo by the name of the Outsyders, and another by Bloodshy and Avant.
In fact, the Outsyders produced Womanizer. The supposed ''comeback'' single. So it was definitely risky to use such inexperienced producers at such a pivotal point in Britney's career. One would they they would use a reliable hit-maker like Max and Luke for that, but they didn't.
Also, the majority of Circus and FF were produced by Max and Luke, so naturally those tracks would end up being singles at some point, no? But it's hardly a matter of who produced the song that guarantees a hit [at least in Britney's case]. It's the actual quality. OLL was produced by Luke and that performed very poorly.
And, god only knows what Beyonce is up to with her music.

With Britney you're always guaranteed a solid lead single no matter what, Beyonce, on the other hand, just seems to be trying to serve some type of R&B/funk/reggae stuff. I don't even know.
