Lindsay Lohan Interview with 92.3NOW
Lindsay Lohan visited the studio for New York/New Jersey radio station 92.3 NOW for a interview. She seemed pretty normal in the interview and was bubbly.

"So word on the street is, you have a new single out called Trainwreck. We must say, it's REALLY good considering the theme!"
"Thanks, I had a lot of fun writing it."
"It's such a bop though, Who knew you were gonna make such a huge comeback?"
"*laughs* I only just started "
"I know sis. Speaking of which how's the album process going?
"We're almost done, and I've shot the album cover and picked the title already.We just need to go through the whole process and all. Half of the material was made during rehab."
"Did you write all of the songs then, though?"
"Uhm, we actually were in the studio working at night ever since I first got signed. Haven't had much sleep tho "
"I've noticed. And you still managed to slay the entire world at that Britney show?"
"Thank you," *giggles* "I'm very proud of it myself. I worked extra hard on it to ensure it was a good tribute for Britney you know, because I love her and she's one of my biggest inspirations for the record. I'm glad how it turned out"
"Now are other performances this era gonna be like that one?"
"In some elements, yes. But I'm not gonna do the same thing over and over. I'm doing a lot this album and it's great. Tons of different things, we just gotta wait and see "
"Also we saw you shooting a video a few weeks back, is that for Trainwreck?"
"Yes it is. I directed the video myself and I've got to say I love how it turned out. Everything about it really, I can't wait for the world to see it."

Tegan and Sara album launch party
Tegan and Sara celebrated the release of their new album Shipwrecked with an exclusive release party last night. The party took place at the PALMS Las Vegas, more specifically in the Kingpin Suite, which is famous for its size of nearly 5,000 square feet and the two integrated bowling alleys.
The night started with the twin duo taking the makeshift stage that had been set up in one of the living rooms where they played a twelve song set which included a handful of songs from their new record as well as some beloved fan favorites from their previous albums. They presented their songs in a stripped down acoustic style, and that went down extremely well with the crowd of 100 devoted fans, who had been chosen among those who had pre-ordered Shipwrecked on iTunes.
Their old tracks proved to still sound as fresh as ever, while the new tracks seemed to fit right in, channeling the same indie-pop vibe Tegan and Sara have been known for ever since they first made a splash on the scene. What's remarkable about the new songs is that they sound very polished, with crisp hooks and guitars taking the lead more often than on their previous album, yet there is still a melancholy, dreamy element to the tracks as well, and together with the personal lyrics that makes for unique and captivating listening experience.
When the band closed their set with 'Closer', it proved that even when played acoustically, it's the perfect dancefloor filler, since the whole suite was dancing while confetti and balloons were flying through the room.
After the performance, Tegan and Sara joined the crowd, dancing, singing karaoke, playing pool and bowling with their fans, making it feel more like one huge party among friends rather than an album release party. Free drinks were provided by the bar all night, as well as a buffet with snacks and an endless supply of pizza.
As midnight approached, a huge clock appeared on the theater-size projection screen, counting down the minutes until the midnight release of the album. At exactly 0:00AM Tuesday, a spectacular light show went off in the whole suite, and the plasma screens showed the album cover while the DJ started playing the album.
We heard the celebrations went on long into the night, everyone making full use of the exquisite location and its luxurious features including Tegan and Sara themselves. They stayed until the last fans had finally left, ensuring everyone enjoyed this unique experience as much as they did.
As a special gift, every guest received a Shipwrecked tote bag, a Shipwrecked journal to write down their memories of the night and more, a set of Shipwrecked pencils, a signed polaroid photo of themselves with Tegan and Sara & a $5 gift voucher for their next purchase in the band's webstore.
We've seen quite a few record launch parties, but this one stands out as a unique bonding experience between artist and fans, since it was so unforced and naturally fun for everyone.

Selena kicks off her "Black Orchid" in London O2 Arena.
Yesterday, Selena started her long awaited Black Orchid tour. Her first stop was London, O2 Arena. The concert was sold out, and grossed 11,076,950 million. Selena's label is thrilled about the reception, and earnings. Critics praised Selena for a fantastic show, and said, she really is a fire ball. Her stage presence was fantastic. The songs picked for the tour were fabulous. There were sad, and fun moments. Critics also praised, Selena's opening act, her label mate, Ariana Grande. Overall the tour has favorable reviews, and today Selena is going to Manchester for her second tour date.

Selena Gomez Black Orchid tour performance.
The tour started with Ariana Grande opening it.
She sang 7 songs (Wonderland...) She started her set with her first single coming next week. Wonderland she sang it nicely, her voice had no cracks, she literally slayed. She sounded like an A class act, and to think
she's only 20 years old, and has a voice like this it's incredible.
After Ariana ended her set. She left the stage, and said enjoy the rest of the night, goodbye!
Then a huge countdown showed on the screen, and started going 10...9....8....7.....6....5.....4.....3....2...1.. And Selena fell from the sky, she was in harness. She landed on the stage wearing a black jacket, and short shorts. She started singing her song "Turn Me On" The performance was a huge party. Selena danced, talked with audience. She was just having fun, a great choreography was done, and the performance felt very great. After Selena ended "turn Me On". She quickly ran, and changed her outfit. She got back on stage, and was wearing a school girls uniform. As soon as she got back on stage, and started singing, Oh Baby Bay. Audience went crazy, Selena started singing Britney's hit song "Baby One More Time" A classroom props were added. Dancers dressed as students started dancing , jumping on tables. Selena was sitting next to the table, singing the song, and writing something on papers. She then took the papers, stood up,
and threw them to audience. On papers there was her autographs. Lucky audience members got them. She ended the song. After this performance she didn't go change, she took the mic, and started singing her power ballad "Once" She sang it nicely. Her voice sounded pure, and you could hear her cry during the song. In the end of this song. She went to change. The next performance was "Body Language" It started with huge ice sculpture of the man was standing in the center of the stage. As soon as song started loads of fire were added, and the stage was super hot. The sculpture started to melt, and water started dripping from it. Then Selena got on stage she was wearing leather jacket, and tight black jeans. She was carrying a baseball bat. Later she got closer to the sculpture, took the baseball bat, and started hitting it. The sculpture was destroyed, and Selena started dancing in the flames with other bunch of dancers. The performance ended with huge flash mob of guys, and Selena on the top. After "Body Language" Selena sat next to piano, and started singing "You Murdered My Love" Fantastic vocals, fun time, and great piano skills were offered with this performance. it was a very sweet, and funny performance. Two dancers were dancing on the piano, the podium on which piano was was moving. The Selena sang her old hit from her old times "Come & Get It" the performance had Indian vibes. Selena played drums, and was wearing Indian clothes. It looked very great, and was a nice touch, it made her tour more versatile. After this she sang another power ballad, "Naked Truth" This performance made some audience members cry, because this song is very touching, and hard to listen to. It's about bullying, and about other world problems. Sad background were used. Then Selena sang another old hit "Slow Down" Neon lights, lasers, disco ball were added, and made this performance very hot. Everyone was dancing jumping, and having fun.The fun started with other performance which completely made audience go crazy. it was time for Britney's mash-up performance! She did Britney's dance moves, it was a very sweet tribute. Selena talked about Britney. She said, that Britney is her idol, and will always be. After this performance she took a bottle of water which was close to her, and sipped some water, because her mouth was dry.

Tegan and Sara on 102.1 KPRi FM San Diego

On the morning of their album release, Tegan and Sara visited San Diego 102.1 KPRi FM for a quick interview and performance.
Host: Good morning everyone, we are live on air now with Tegan and Sara, welcome ladies!
Tegan and Sara: Hello! Thanks for the welcome.
Sara: And the coffee. It was much needed.
Host: (laughs) Not a problem. I take that as a sign your record release party last night went well?
Sara: Oh, it was excellent. Everyone had an amazing time, it's one of the most fun things we've ever done in our whole career I think. It just was a bit late, or early, depending on how you look at it. (laughs)
Host: You celebrated with a bunch of lucky fans at the PALMS in Las Vegas, how did you come up with that idea? We've seen several album release parties recently and they were all shaped out to be huge events, with media coverage and everything, but yours was not quite as public and more intimate. Was there a reason for that?
Tegan: Well, we've always been a band that is really close to the fans, and when we planned to do a release party, it only made sense for it to be some sort of way to say thank you for all the support throughout the years. We wanted to give them something exclusive, unforgettable, but still enjoyable and most of all nothing that would make them feel uncomfortable. That's why we wanted to keep it really laid back, to make them feel like they were hanging out with friends rather than with 'the band' Tegan and Sara.
Sara: We've attended a couple of top notch events recently, we played at Loreen's and Christina Aguilera's album parties and we loved being there and being a part of that; but we wanted something different for ours, something on a smaller scale and that would allow people to get involved and have fun, and not just make them stand there and listen to us perform our new album.
Host: That's a very modest approach, putting the fans first, I mean, didn't it cross your mind that with other artists attending your party, you could draw a lot more attention to your album?
Tegan: Sure, if we had gotten Selena Gomez or anyone of that level of fame to perform with us, it certainly would have garnered more interest. But that's really not why we decided to do something like that, we wanted it to be for the fans and for ourselves, it wasn't actually meant as some sort of promo event. If that was the case, we had organized it much differently, opened it to the public and media and such.
Sara: We've been doing so much promo in the last few weeks and there's still more to come, so last night was actually more like a break from that. It was nice to unwind a bit and since we were playing the new songs for the first time, it was great to do it for an audience that truly appreciates us and our music and that we knew would be grateful to be the first to hear them.
Host: I get that, and I think it paid off, I saw a couple of tweets where people were extremely happy with how the night turned out.
Sara: Yeah, we've also been getting a lot of tweets from people who attended, thanking us for such a cool night. It's quite touching, all we wanted was for everyone to have a great time and we're glad to see that came true.
Host: Now it's back to work for you, you're playing Jimmy Kimmel tonight to an audience that's much bigger than last night's, does that make you nervous at all?
Tegan: I'm rather excited than nervous to be honest, it's our first time on the show so I'm curious to find out how it all works and what's it gonna be like. We still don't go on a lot of TV shows, even though we've had the opportunity to do some really great programs like Ellen and Conan, but it's still special for us, so we really appreciate it and try to make the best of it.
Host: We wish you best of luck for it! Let's talk about the album, you only took about a year off after you were done with the Heartthrob era, was it easy for you to get back into writing and move on from that album?
Sara: I don't know if it was easy, it just came very naturally. At some point towards the end of our touring for Heartthrob, we started writing songs on the road because we were feeling inspired, and once we got off tour and had a longer period of time off, we went back to those songs and liked what we had created and just went from there.
Tegan: We never knew how fast we'd start work on another album after Heartthrob, it was a huge album that changed a lot of things for us and there was no way to predict what things would be like at the end of the era. We couldn't even imagine what direction we wanted to go into musically afterwards, because that album felt like it was really completing our discography at the time and we were sort of creatively drained. But once we got a bit of a break from touring and playing music, we figured out pretty quickly what approach we wanted to take for the album, and we actually drew a lot of inspiration from our experiences of writing, recording and playing Heartthrob. It was fun working with what he had learned from the record.
Host: And that's definitely audible, the songs itself might not be the most upbeat but I can hear that you enjoyed making them, and there seems to be a lot of passion and hard work in them, too.
Sara: Thank you, that means a lot because we did work really hard on this record. We didn't wanna slack off after Heartthrob was such a success, we wanted to keep challenging ourselves and entertaining our audience, and that requires a lot of work and effort. But yes, we enjoyed it, it was great to work with Chris Walla again and we just loved seeing the songs take shape and turn out like they did. We're very content with the result and can't wait for people to hear it now.

Ellen: So, Miley how have you been?
Miley: I’ve been doing absolutely amazing!
Ellen: Does that have to do with a little music video release today?
Miley: Hmmmm… Lemme think….

Ellen: In case you guys didn’t follow, Miley just released the music video for her new single “Free Falling” earlier today! And I gotta say, it is ABSOLUTELY fantastic!
Miley: Thanks so much Ellen the feedback has been pretty overwhelming so yeah!
Ellen: And in case you guys haven’t seen the video yet, here’s a little clip of it. Roll it.
*The shot was back onto her walking down the highway. The sky went from broad daylight to blackout night. But this time there was something that was chasing her, but it was invisible. Suddenly, Hannah Montana and the 2011 Miley Cyrus began to chase her down the highway. Miley kept mouthing the lyrics to the verse and ran away from Hannah & well… herself in a beautiful, lightning fashion. She cracked open her Coke can and dropped it on the floor with the bat. Both of them caught on fire randomly on the floor. She took off lots of her bracelets, accessories and jacket to drop them to the floor. The minute they hit the road, the all caught on fire*
Ellen: I’m going to be 100% honest here, it is my favorite music video of the year so far. I think it’s just absolutely amazing.
Miley: Thanks again! Again, it means a lot from all the Smilers so yup!
Ellen: So the video has this really cool theme around fire and your past fame? Would you like to elaborate exactly what the concept was?
Miley: Well yes, this is the first video in my career where I had control and I actually co-directed. I co-directed this video with my boss Georgie Skai, who does everything pretty much. He produces, writes songs, plans my schedules and directs so he’s absolutely amazing. With the song I know I wanted to incorporate the statement of: “Hey! I’m not Hannah Montana, or a Disney girl anymore!” But unlike Can’t Be Tamed, I wanted to say it in a louder, more expressive and efficient way. So that’s kind of where we started. And Georgie was telling me about the first scene, the desert scene and I fell in love with it. And… we just kind of built the video from there.
Ellen: We’ve been waiting AGES for you to come on the Ellen show. I mean, originally you were supposed to debut your single here but things took a little change.
Miley: Yeah, that week was very tough for everyone in the Industry. And it was what it was, but the most important thing was that I knew I was gonna be here someday. And look I’m here!
Ellen: I’m so happy that you are, I’m a huge fan!
Miley: Aw, thanks!
Ellen: So let’s talk about the new single you have coming out next week. Let’s just say the single has caught a LOT of peoples’ attention.
Miley: Yes, in case anyone didn’t know, my new single coming out next week is a collaboration with Lindsay Lohan! And my girl Lindsay also has a new single which just came out today! It’s called “Trainwreck” so you guys should download it ASAP!
Ellen: Oh, yes we’ve heard it this morning and people have been raving that her comeback could be very special! So what kind of song is the new single?
Miley: It’s an upbeat, fun, carefree and liberating song! It’s more on the Pop-Rock/Pop-Rhythmic side, but not AS Rock influenced as “Free Falling.”
Ellen: Although we have seen a promotional picture for your new single, when are we getting the single cover?
Miley: The single cover should be coming out this weekend. I believe!
Ellen: And not only congratulations on the album confirmation, the music video release, and the new single… But congratulations on the CAL10 chart!
Miley: Thanks, I’ve been getting lots of congrats all week long for that.
Ellen: I’ve been listening to some of your interviews, and I’ve always been hearing about how Top Five is the ultimate goal. Although you missed it by one spot, you still moved up four places which I think was the biggest increase that week!
Miley: I thought I was going to bank in #7, or maybe #8 because there was a lot of competition. I didn’t think for a minute that #6 was going to happen so when I saw the chart I literally flipped out!
Ellen: I was feeling a bit bad, because in the beginning you weren’t very solid you know. You debuted in at #10 so did you think other labels didn’t see you as a threat?
Miley: Of course not, but I’m climbing up and next week is going to be WILD. Absolutely WILD. With the new single release, and what Lindsay & My labels’ have in store is seriously going to make people shake a bit. So it’s all very exciting!
Ellen: But for this week, what do you have planned?
Miley: I have a Beats By Dr. Dre commercial airing on TV this week so I’m pumped for that! And I will be doing a few things which will be confirmed a little later in the week. My life’s just moving right now, faster than ever. And for once I feel like I have control, trust and I feel comfortable with everything going on.
Ellen: That’s amazing to hear! So before you get on stage, what’d you have to say?
Miley: Just thank you to everyone who believed in me, especially my Smilers! And I hope you enjoy the performance because we’re bringing the flat escalator back!

Namie Amuro Performs Hands On Me @ Good Morning America
On Monday Morning foreign popstar Namie Amuro Took to the GMA summer concert stage in Central Park once again to perform her Latest single "Hands On Me". The stage was set in a summer tone with sand covering the stage. Tiki torches around the stage and a LD screen in the pack playing video of waves. The song starts with the beating drums and the torches light up as Namie starts singing. Dancers start coming out dressed in Islander theme outfits surrounding Namie as she walks back and fourth through the stage doing the occasional Choreo. The Chorus hits and the torches blaze up as a Water Show starts happening on stage as Namie and her dancers are divided by a wall of squirting water. They start doing the choreo as the screen plays black and red silhouettes dancing, When the chrous ends the wall of water drop and the stage gets lit up in a circle of flames. Namie Continues singing as she changes the choreo up to some traditional island dances as she's on the floor kicking the sand everywhere. Pre chrous hits and flames starts lighting up everywhere and Namie and her dancers throw beach balls into the crowd. When the bridge hits all the fires goes out and namie gets surrounded by her dancers as some others stay spreading out on stage dancing. Namie is serving with the vocals and she suddenly starts lifting off the ground as the beat picks up. Her dancers go crazy on stage as it lights up again. Namie lifts out her hands as the chrous hits and water starts spraying out from behind her and the crowd starts getting wet. Namie is in the air giving some Christina like ab libs as her dancers own the stage. She descends back onto ground and when the song ends 2 Wallks of water spray up next to her and and the tiki torches light up again. She similes at the crowd and winks at the camera before thanking everyone and leaving behind a roaring crowd

Namie Amuro Releases Lyric Video for Hands On Me
After Namie Amuro's explosive performance @ GMA Monday the popstar quickly took to her Youtube account to post the official Lyric video of her latest single. Hands On me. The Lyric video consist of various images of exotic islands and islanders dancers but aswell as footage of Namie Amuro traveling/Vacationing/Partying at these locations. Immediately after its release the video gained 9 Million views in less than an hour, however this was due to Namie not clarifying it was a lyric video and not the actual MV. Clever Miss Amuro

Namie Amuro Announces "The Amuro Experience" Release Date & Album Cover

Today we come bearing some exciting news as Namie Amuro has OFFICIALLY announced the release date for her highly anticipated international album "The Amuro Experience". On Disco Visions website it was posted on the front page the release date which is 8/23/13 . Following the release date below it was an album cover for Namie's Album which we must say, S L A Y E D US. Take a look above
Amazing right? However don't get too happy just yet, Namie still keeping us on the edge of our toes as she said there will also be a Deluxe Version of the album but won't reveal to us the album cover just yet, she said when she releases the track listing we can expect the deluxe album art. Namie stated that she had some last minute fixes to make to the track listinf to make sure it was worth the wait, so be on the look out for that juicey news!
