Ugh, the chorus is the worst. So overrated. I absolutely LOATHE noisy choruses. One of the reasons why I find both Applause and Roar irritating. The best thing about Applause is the intro instrumental.
I love the chorus, but it is not a pop radio chorus. It's [purposely] overproduced and impossible to sing along to. If I didn't know what she was saying, I wouldn't even be able to decipher it.
