- Gaga said Applause almost didn't make the album; brought Jimmy Iovine almost 40 songs to listen to, played Applause
- Fan caller: "Is there a costume an artist has worn in the past that you wish you could wear?" Gaga: "Every costume!" Gaga talked about purchasing some of MJ's clothes, she draws some inspiration from them
- Gaga doesn't like the negativity in the music industry, knows how hard it was for her to make it and how hard it was for everyone was else to make it, too [I think Ryan asked her about the supposed feud with Katy at this point, I missed a bit of it]
- Gaga discounted rumors that she grew up rich; so grateful for everything her parents gave her, and she wants to make sure she continues to work hard to show that she earned her spot
- Doing it for fame and doing it for the applause are different -- "something visceral, meaningful beyond the gossip and the tabloids," between the artists and the fans
- Her hair isn't a wig right now, but "don't ask too much about my weave" 
- Brandon (current lead stylist) has been working with Gaga for years too
- Nicola was and still is a dear friend of Gaga's
- Can you give us any details about VMA performance? LOL no. "I've cut out the poultry, the vegetables... we're going more with textiles"
