Adele's 21 and 19 was also only released this year on March 7. She also seems to be the only English Artist that has an album within the top 30 and she has two albums in it. 21 is at #2 selling 3502 copies this week and 19 is at #30.

Just relaying information over from UKmix forum. I didn't go bother checking too much information on it and Adele being on the charts is still impressive nonetheless.

Her success worldwide is just amazing and it makes me proud to see my favorite be so successful because it shows how her music is so relatable and great.

Population numbers doesn't equate to large music sales. A majority of citizens in China probably doesn't have the money or want to use their money on something like music and also piracy is pretty big in China. Its not surprising to see low sale numbers in China since many other countries with large populations also have the same issue. This is something that not everyone is able to understand in this thread but instead tries to use population numbers to shade. I don't think sale numbers mean that much when it comes to things like this. The mere fact that Adele has strong presence within China speaks for it self. Adele's 21 is reaching their standards of 3x platinum and its still selling well. It also has 3 weeks at #1.

I find this information really interesting anyways since album sales in China have been incredibly hard to find. Just recently the UK mix forum was able to dig alot of information about it

Anyways Adele is #10 on the Sino Charts this week and she should be close to 50k in sales
