Thicke's still selling ~300k a week, isn't he? So my prediction for Katy has to easily be 600k+, threatening Taylors record. Like, if Blurred Lines itself wasn't a massive hit pre-Roar she'd currently be about 72% about the #2 song. That's huuuuge.
Gaga could destroy Katys chances, but really the more time that passes the more confident I am Katy is going to hang onto the #1.
Thicke sold +400k last week. Even with the complete my album thing.
Definitely much worse than this. POM struggled outside the english speaking countries, while Roar seems to be doing well all over the place. I must admit I was a little worried but it's doing great so far.

That's only because it was removed from Itunes for a few days the week before. This week it'll sell 300k~ and next chart week it will sell 250K~ If Katy can hold this lead, then she can get it.

It was removed around Saturday 3/Sunday 4 tho, so during the digital week and during the same week as the one he sold 400k (since the digital week starts on Monday and ends on Sunday).
someone posted a very helpful page where you can automatically request Roar on various stations in the base thread
someone should dig that up who has ATRL+ cause I'm not here for refreshing a page 200 times before I find something

While it's a bit early in the week to exactly forecast just how big either will be, industry sources suggest each should sell well over 400,000 downloads by the end of the tracking week on Aug. 18. A start of more than 500,000 for each wouldn't be out of the question either.
