Russell and Nicki are the only ones that I think deserve their own show because they have concepts and point of views that would be so new and interesting to the Food Network. They have "Pioneer Woman" and "Trisha's Southern Kitchen" (Garth Brooks' wife) which were both alternating the 5:30 spot after Paula's show at 5 p.m., and now they both alternate the 5 p.m. slot. The southern theme is already done there in my opinion and both shows are fantastic!
I love Nikki's and Stacey's concept best. Russell is cool, but the "sin" thing will get old fast. Rodney is just a "pie" version of Guy with less credibility.
I still hope Stacey wins. Although she fumbles, she is the most interesting. The whole "too perfect" criticism is annoying because shows like the "Barefoot Contessa," The Pioneer "Woman" or Giada herself lack a lot of spontaneity and they come off "perfect."
Honestly, the Food Network knows what type of show they are looking for that will best fit on their network.
