That's a dangerous slope though. Your
taste may be equally "valid" in some sense, but that doesn't mean your opinion or assessment is as informed as another person's.
I understand and respect the idea of personal taste, but I don't think de-valuing the opinion of others who spend their lives working in a particular field is the right way to boost self-efficacy.
