SHAKIRA VISITS BBC RADIO 1 + LIVE LOUNGE SESSION (THROWS SHADE)
THE LATIN QUEEN OF POP LANDED IN THE UK THIS MORNING.
The pop star was heading to her hotel where BBC caught up with her to ask her some juicy questions.
INTERVIEWER: You've recently stated in a interview back in the states that you think Paris Hilton is talentless. Is that was you intended? Do you think she's really talentless?
SHAKIRA: Do I really need to confirm what the world already knows?
INTERVIEWER: Recently there has been some problems and altercations between Demi Lovato and Nicki Minaj? Do you have anything to comment on that?
SHAKIRA: Demi's too classy to be acting that way.
The singer left us and went in her hotel after.
INTERVIEW
INTERVIEWER: So Shakira you're in the UK to promote your single Truths. Why don't you tell us a little about the single.
SHAKIRA: It's a song that really means a lot to me. I wrote it in less than a day and all the lyrics there are the lyrics I and Sia wrote. We never changed the lyrics. We put a piano to it and there it is.
INTERVIEWER: Tell us some about your album? How many tracks are there and things?
SHAKIRA: I believe there are thirteen tracks. I'll reveal the tracklist later on this week actually. I'm excited for everyone to see the amazing titles on there.
INTERVIEWER: Is there a lot of ballads on the album? Since Truth is a big ballad can we expect more?
SHAKIRA: There a about an even number of ballads and uptempos. It has a bit of everything on it.
LIVE SESSION:
The singer started off her live session with an acoustic version of Truths, that the small audience seemed to love. The singer went on to perform a acoustic version of Nocturnal, a song she's performed that will appear on her upcoming album. The singer then finished the set off with Whenever, Wherver and Hips Don't Lie.
