Yeah, I'm planning on doing 150 songs (same as last year). I've made a mid-year list of 50 songs based on my weekly countdown, which definitely helps out in doing the yearend chart.

This year has been brilliant for music on both the singles and albums front! I've never done a countdown though, it just seems so hard to decide the order.

Doing my usual stuff like I have again this winter.

Not yet. I'll end up changing my mind over the next few months and hate half of the songs I've adored.

I guess I should start now, actually.

I'm trying to narrow it down to 100 songs.

What i do is list every song that's charted on my Hot 40, then around November, I narrow them down to 100 songs.

I already started on my layout. I'm doing everything early now since I have some free time.

The only thing I really do by this point is keep track of my top singles. Right now, I have enough to do around a top 60. I mean, if I used EVERY song I've listened to since the beginning of the year, I could come up with a top 100 right now, though. Other than that, I have a (small) list for my top albums, and that's about it. I worry about the rest later on in the year.

Only got 10 albums... and 30+ songs... Yeah, haven't been that impressed this year...

my Year-End is always 30 songs. i always feel like around 30 is a good representation of the songs i absolutely loved throughout the whole year. but i've been thinking about including a "bubbling under"-esque for the ones that deserve to be recognized as songs i mildly liked.

i normally make a "seasonal chart" list that go by separate seasons of the year. i've been doing it since 2009, this year though i'm adding in the points from my regular countdown since i've lately been relying more on it to make decisions on buying music. Right now thinks are looking good, but there's still fall and winter so

i'm also bent on posting top tens for films and albums, some posts for books and video games.

I have like over 200 singles and like 30 albums. But the best music for me is coming within the next few months.

Nope, I usually just wait and do it all in December. I'm sure I have around 300 songs to sort through myself, though
I think this year I'm going to separate my countdown into "2013 Songs" and "Miscellaneous Songs".
Because a lot of the time I find music from other years and enjoy it and count it as a 2013 countdown.
