Like I understand the singles thing. I agree that both The Harold Song and Last Goodbye were commercial enough to be released and have at least a chance at success at that her label doesn't want to take a risk, but why just bash Dr. Luke and her label entirely? Personally, I feel Warrior is her best album to date and I know a lot of you feel the same way too, so why are we acting like it sucks or something? I mean, it is her most critically acclaimed album, is it not?

And you guys realize that Ke$ha might not care about having hit songs and selling records, but her label does. They are funding her because they expect to see a return on their investment. That's the nature of a business. If she really feels like there's a certain type of music she wants to make and that it's not commercial and it won't sell records, then she just needs to do all that she can to get out of her contract.

No-one said that, you are just looking to be negative and try and 'drag' a stanbase. What Ke$ha and her fans are annoyed about are her not being able to release songs with different production and instrumentation, she is being forced into one sound and her singles are all the most generic songs on the album rather than her more different songs. Last Goodbye was a shoe in for a single to everyone but her label, it's too different for her, they don't want her to get too personal in her music, it has to be about partying or nothing. No-one ever said her lyrics were in question or that she doesn't write party songs well, she clearly does and she does enjoy it...just that she should be able to do more. Her party songs are still great, she should still put a couple on her album but only a couple, she needs to expand artistically.

And let's just look on the bright side, she WAS able to put out something that sounded new for her and exhibited TREMENDOUS artistic growth and talent with Warrior, so it's not like there's TOO much to be upset about, she wasn't forced to make Animal part 2 by any means.

All we know is that someone has turned down machine gun love, and the album turned out a little different then she wanted.. But she still loves many tracks on that album.. I mean, look at love into the light and warrior.. i know she loves them both cause lyrically it's what she stands for. Plus, when you saw her record it, you saw how she enjoyed doing it.

anyways, she should be allowed some creative control, but it should be a collaborating agreement... We don't know what happens behind closed doors. The animals claiming they know, they have no receipts.. so they can stay talking bull!

I think Luke should make half her album, and give her freedom with the rest. RCA should do the same: pick the lead single, let her do the rest or listen to the general public

Exactly.
Although nothing will be as good as Animal for me, Warrior showed maturity and growth, so let's not act like it was Animal Pt.2, she had SOME freedom.

Animal was amazing because that was what she wanted at the time, she was fully into the whole "party girl" persona and was loving it, that why it's special. While Warrior was nice, she wasn't into it, she was "forced' to sing it, to have the fake persona. It shows in her (electropop) music too, it's just not as good, and yet the rock/acoustic songs are mostly phenomenal (with, like one dud).
