Anyway, who cares about what somebody said to Oprah? I know it's racism but it's not like Oprah is dying of hunger and we don't have better stuff to talk about.
how do you NOT know who Oprah is tho? Even my parents who are oblivious to the whole media superstars, pop culture,.. know who Oprah is and probably people without TV or internet know who she is That girl/guy must seriously live in a hole somewhere
I wouldn't jump to the conclusion that this is racism. Maybe she didn't know who Oprah was

Oprah Winfrey says she was the victim of racism during a recent visit to Switzerland.
The assistant would need to clarify why she said Oprah was incapable of purchasing the handbags first. The assistant may have thought Oprah presented herself as a poor woman. But why not, let's just stick with the fact that Winfrey is black.
