I don't care if Jay-Z "MCHG" sold more than Yeezus because at the end of the day, Yeezus is way better than "MCHG."That why Yeezus score higher than MCHG on metacritic. MCHG is Jay worst album he ever did and people who are a "real" fan of hip hop know that. I hang out with plenty of Jay-Z stans and they don't even like the album because Jay-Z's lyrics was so weak that Rick Ross was out doing him on one of the track they did together.

Now I know why some people who is a fan of Hip Hop doesn't like Yeezus because it not that "topical" hip hop album like Take Care, Madd City or Born Sinner. Just like some people don't pay M.I.A no mind because she not that topical hip hop artist which it sad because her discography **** on plenty of rappers discography.

And another reason why some people don't like his album because the title itself.

Jay-Z can have the # all he want but

1. Kanye is more critically acclaimed than Jay-Z.

2. Kanye won way more grammys than Jay-Z.

3. Kanye is way more talented than Jay-Z.

4.Kanye is a way bettter artist than Jigga.

Vin, sis, you're going to have to come to terms with which of the two you hold in higher value: critical acclaim or sales.

There are two parts to what you're saying:

1) Yeezus' was a lot more well received than MCHG. 2) Robin Thicke has the big summer hit and JT doesn't.

However, you are neglecting that 1) MCHG sold more than Yeezus and 2) JT's new material is far more well received than Robin's, and wasn't surrounded by controversy related to misogyny.

So which matters more? Pick sales and you're invalidating your first argument because MHCG's sales are far higher than Yeezus'. Pick critical acclaim and you're invalidating the second part because Justin's critical acclaim is on another level compared to Robin's. A contradictory mess.
