So I think most of us can agree that The Female MJ usually sounds pretty haggard singing her uptempo pop ditties live. However, I think her voice really shines when she's singing acoustic songs with lots of emotion, such as those from her excellent MTV Unplugged session + EP. The long notes, the transitions from deep voice into an airy head voice, the emotion in her voice... give me life.

So, are these her best performances? If not, what is? Should Katy release a full acoustic disc?

Her live vocals on Hackensack are AMAZING.

That's not even the worst Firework performance. Dunno why ATRL ignores the 3 that make that AMA performance look like Katy is the greatest singer of all time.
