the only bigger seller from your list is Nickleback - only they could sell more than the popular ones

srsly, its not even strange at all, because those approach people that buy albums like they've always done, whereas popalbums has fallen into oblivion

i'd say it is harder for someone like rihanna, who lacks a loyal fanbase and came out when d/ls had taken over already. And just 4 years ago fergie and jt would have sold at least 5 million

Thats a dumb point to make because you absolutely cannot compare albums of the past in terms of sales to current albums because of the state of the industry...sales arent what they used to be...you would have to come up with a formula that has a variable for the difference between the market of old and the market of today...
