I think she has good intentions, but whenever she's critical of another female many people like making it seem as if she's attacking them out of some sort of jealousy.

Simon Cowell: I’ll see you at boat camp

A SENSATIONAL shake-up of this year’s X Factor will see the judges summoned by Simon Cowell to a dramatic summit in the Med — on his YACHT.

The show — out to end two years in which he has barely shown his face — will fly out Louis Walsh, Sharon Osbourne, Nicole Scherzinger and Gary Barlow so he can discuss Boot Camp acts who will progress to the judges’ houses stage.

Multi-millionaire Cowell, 53, has agreed to take less of a back seat this time round despite still being busy with the American version of the franchise. In the States he appears as a judge, ruling him out of making a comeback as “Mr Nasty” on the UK panel.

But by the time of the yacht summit — as the show here enters the Boot Camp stage — he will be on his hols.

The floating conference will see him tell the judges which categories of act they will mentor — a task he was criticised for performing in phone calls last year.

Last night a source confirmed: “Simon wanted to be involved on screen this year.

“We originally intended to do the Boot Camp stage in Miami and he would likely have had a much bigger role. But that plan didn’t work out so it will again take place at Wembley Arena next month. We decided it would add extra glamour — and not interrupt Simon’s holiday too much — if we took the mountain to Mohammed.

“The judges will get on a plane to his yacht wherever it is in the Med. He’ll chat through the acts and then dish out the categories.”

The tenth series of The X Factor hits screens at the end of August — and Cowell has also discussed popping up at the live ITV1 shows via satellite.

I will judge when I see the acts, XFactor is not so predictable beforehand. Sometimes the acts suck in some catagories!

Last time I checked, the last time Louis mentored the boys, he got Shayne Ward to win and have a career that actually had some success over the course of at least 5 years.

All the other boys that won this show (Leon, Joe, Matt) all flopped and were dropped within 1 or 2 years of winning. And two of those acts came from Danni

It's a double-edged sword but Louis isn't completely useless since he brought us JLS & Union J.

Both girls and the girl group that won X Factor have done MUCH better in the UK than all three of the boys I mentioned COMBINED.

'X Factor' Boot Camp's new twist revealed

X Factor filmed the Boot Camp stage of the competition over the weekend, and new twists made it extra emotional for the contestants and judges this year.

For the first time ever, judges Gary Barlow, Sharon Osbourne, Louis Walsh and Nicole Scherzinger were handed their categories before Boot Camp started, adding an extra dimension to the team rivalry for the show's 10th series.

In a similar fashion to BBC One's The Voice UK, the judges then had to pick the acts to join their team immediately after their performances.

Each judge could only take six acts through to Judges' Houses, so the fate of acts lay solely in the hands of one individual judge.

The judges were allowed to swap out acts that they had picked for their Top 6 if someone impressed them more later on, but having to kick quality acts out of their teams generated an incredible amount of tension and tears for the panel.

Tweeting about X Factor over the weekend, Barlow said: "That was the most incredible and exciting X Factor session EVER!"

X Factor returns to ITV later this month.

That was in 2005. During the three judge format. And when pop music wasn't as selectable. But still, you have a point.
