She's literally incorporating the idea of performance art into this era. I'm scared it won't translate well though. And unless you know about this stuff, it's hard to understand just what's going on.

It's not about nudity and sex. Just because she's naked, it doesn't mean that's the focus of the piece. Her nudity is supposed to create vulnerability so she is helpless against the environment. With that, she has to rely on her senses, just as Marinas method instructs.
