That's the thing (for me). The vocaly on the first three albums may be amazing but those songs for a big part just don't do it for me. Of course, this is just a personal opinion.
I see where your coming from. I generally love 80s/Early 90s music anyway so I'll always prefer those albums. I think we can all agree though that TEOM >>>>>>> Her other recent albums

I'd take Charmbracelet over her dusty AC fests from the beginning of her career. I've tried to get through them but apart from a few gems those first three albums are so dated and cheesy.
Music Box I can understand, but the debut and Emotions are nearly flawless and barely contain any AC songs.
