I want #R8 to be world music, taking sounds from all over the world, but giving it the Rihanna edge. African drums, Arabic violins, and of course a reggae influence, but with a splash of pure pop euphoria.
Visually, I want a tribal version of Loud. Bright colors, prints, sparkle.

Everyone's going to hate me for this, but I want an album with slow, quiet jams like "Get It Over With" and "Stay" and then some dark reggae bops like "Man Down" and "No Love Allowed", and some experimental, left-field, druggy electronic stuff like "Numb" and "Complicated".
I wouldn't be opposed to more of a rock influence, either. She's really good at that.
In fact, maybe she could do a mid-tempo, dark, reggae song with guitar and weird electronic noises. Mmm.
It's easier to explain what I DON'T want:
- Ne-Yo
- Dr. Luke
- David Guetta
- RedOne
- Max Martin
- A lot of Stargate tracks
- Dubstep
- Chris Brown
I personally don't think it will come out this year: But it would be cool to see stuff like Unapologetic as it has a mix of Reggae, Dance & Ballads. More Reggae would be goodd
What sound direction do you want the 8th album to go in? Electro-reggae (Break It Off), good dance music (NOT RN), R&B, light, poppy (Loudanna)
What visual direction do you want the 8th album to go in ? Fun, pop, fluffy kind of visuals, not dark and black like UA / RR
How many tracks ? between 10 and 14
What producers and writers do you want to be involved in the project? Rihanna as a writer, and no Guetta as a producer. I want a new stargate.
& lastly
Do you think her 8th album could top the sales of GGGB and Loud? Probably not GGGB but it could come close to loud; if she has a good era and promotes anything is possible.
