Developers will not be required to include functionality for it.... similar to the PS Move ..... so therefor none of them will.

I'd buy it. $100 extra for a Vita, which retails at $250? Way better of a deal than $100 extra for an Xbone. You could even buy the bundle and resell the Vita and profit $100+.

The Vita isn't a BAD system so don't try that. It's just too expensive to survive against the 3DS, especially when most people use their smartphones to play games anyway. The proprietary memory cards don't help either.

All PS4 games will have remote play with vita but developers would need to program it to act as a controller

The vita is an excellent console though, the graphics are amazing an the screen is excellent.

The 2 are completely separate entities, it's halfway between a 3DS/Wii U relationship and a Gamepad/Wii U relationship.

I may actually buy this. I've been wanting a Vita but it's not worth it to me to buy it full price because there's hardly any games I want on it.
