At this point, we have 3 tracks already from her upcoming album. If she keeps up with the promotional singles, we'll have the album in full before it gets a release date. Praying for a November release though.
Mariah needs to cool it with the urban market and embrace her pop roots.
That was forced out of her for 8 years of her career... She should be over it by now (repression) but she just feels comfortable making the music she makes. Can't really blame her
Also, I agree with those wishing she'd record a Poppy album. But honestly, we should be glad Mariah is still making music with over 20 years in this industry.
Besides, #Beautiful was a really poppy record even though it featured Miguel. I can see some tracks on the album being Pop but there'll definitely be more R&B in there.
Regarding the album release date, I want something to come out either late November or December or early next year. Mariah is doomed if she decides to release it soon with all of the Q4 competition.
