The 25% or so of "Asians" in those schools are almost all American either born here, or got a citizenship/intend to.
Just look at the Berkeley stats then Almost all of them are residents of the state of California, and 50+% are Asians because they got rid of affirmative action, which had been keeping the white population at 50% before they dropped it

I would cut off an arm and a leg to be Asain. We blacks are the most looked down upon people on earth. Nobody outside my race will accept me. It's a curse to be black.

You have yet to explain why the uni stats are relevant.

Fine, but these "problems" with improper dress, improper speech, and crime, occur among many racial/ethnic groups - not just Blacks/African-Americans. Every community has its 'bad apples'. The fact that these things are inherently associated with US and that people still fail to understand that we are not all the same = racism.

But sis.. It's pretty prevalent in Blacks

But those things are PROMINENT aspects of the African American identity--just think rap culture, whereas they only exist in minor factions in other races. Like I said, at 13% of the population, what any one of us do weighs heavier than what individuals in the majority do.
Sure we're not all the same, but a white/asian person can't meet every black person. By what's portrayed in the media, perpetuated in rap culture, and exacerbated by crime statistics, it's not fair to blame other races for how they perceive us. We're in control of our image, and until we change that we'll continue to be classified as less-than by the majority.

Even looking Jewish, despite good education, etc was enough reason to not hire you. Downtown NYC stock/law firms only picked the typical connected blonde-blue-eyed Harvard man. It wasn't until things changed, the economics of Wall Street changed, that lots of Jews started making it big here in the U.S.
2) Asians: yes, it's kinda weird comparing two different races, but they are both minorities here in the United States. In many cases, Asians come into this country with less money and knowledge of the language than the black minority. I'm just saying that the "model minority" argument reflects what Don Lemon is saying: Get an Education, Dress well, Stop getting arrested, put your heads down and work for the money.

But my point is....jews still aren't on top. Where are you getting these facts?!?!
I see your point on the 2...kinda but I feel like you have some kind of tittle of self righteousness here. You seem to think that blacks fit into this one little box and send them to the jail, box up the asians and send them to the university. At least it seems that way.

I see where where Clark is coming from. Image is really the last of your worries tbh. Education, poverty and family structure is.

College/University is basically the modern social ladder. They are relevant because children are the future, ergo the number of children getting into good schools or schools at all reflect their good chances of at least being middle class in the future.
Almost every college/university has Affirmative Action, which is in place to make sure that at least some minorities are represented, and to make sure that University/College admissions reflect the makeup of the country in percentages. The country is like...idk...70% white, 14% Hispanic, 12% Black, 4% asian or something like that. but the numbers in top Universities, which are supposed to reflect these, are something like 50% White, 20-30% Asian, 8% Hispanic 6%Black, and ~% other.
In the Berkeley system, along with UCLA, after they took race out of consideration when admitting students, the number of Asian students shot up from 20-30% to 50-60%, and whites shrunk to 34-37%, and Hispanics (which make up a sizeable population in California specifically) were like 3% and blacks 1-2%.
It's like the reverse of looking at the country's prison system

Welp. If you didn't already know, white people and black people do drugs on the same rate, yet blacks more likely to be convicted by 4x. So people who go to prison for petty non-violent crime, come out extremely violent. The cycle continues.

That's not what I think but I can see why people might be mad if that's the perception.
I was just agreeing with Don Lemon. Black people need to start changing the culture, or at least know that there is a time and place for everything. + the priorities need to be right. It's not about being hood and knowing pop culture, it should be about knowing what positive differences you'll make in this life

But how does this relate to Asians being the top of the food chain for power in America & I thought we already established that most of the asian students are not American ?

no at most, 10% of school populations are even allowed to be International meaning from a foreign country Most asian students are African.
And this is not about Asians it's about comparing a model minority to the black minority. If you want we could use Jews in the 20th century as an example

I don't agree.
We we we who is we? I should not be held responsible for how someone I don't know acts. Another person shouldn't have to change themselves so I don't look bad. Of course it's a problem in our community, but that is NO excuse for an outsider looking in to assume that we are all the same. I don't dress/act/talk like a thug. Non-Blacks should not automatically assume that I do because some other Black people dress/act/talk like thugs. ****. It's THEIR fault that Black people are at educational and economic disadvantages and are reduced to being thugs anyway.
