I woke up the other day, and it was 4C. with an afternoon high of just 12C. That is like late October weather, not late July weather. It is basically as if summer just abruptly stopped and vanished.
And people here are still trying to clean up after last months floods. They can't do that if its always raining.

Gurl, I live in Canada. It has not been "hot". There was one week in early July where it was hot, but the rest of summer has been a total dud.
That's the same thing I've been asking myself. All summer has felt like early spring. I think the only time I got to experience hot weather was a few weeks ago when I went to Boston and there was a heat wave. I don't know why I get the feeling that winter might be a bit warmer this year just because it was so chill all summer long.
Yes, I noticed that, too. I live in one of the hottest cities in my country (see; Antalya), we used to witness 40C in the shade. This summer it's barely 33-35C and sometimes it rains.
